We’re proud to announce that we have successfully completed the transition from ISO9001:2008 to the new 2015 standard.
Being ISO certified means that Allen Signs meets the requirements of a globally recognised set of quality management standards aimed at helping businesses and organisations be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction.
ISO standards are reviewed every five years and revised if needed to ensure they remain relevant. The new 2015 version covers the whole business, how it operates at all levels and how it communicates with its customers and stakeholders.
The scope of our ISO 9001 certificate covers Manufacture, Installation and Maintenance. The audit looks at how we set and monitor objectives, how we keep on top of new developments and changes to legislation, and most importantly, how we meet all these challenges as a team.
We first gained our accreditation in 1994 – almost 25 years ago - under the old BS5750. Since then, we have been continuously assessed and maintained our certification. To put it in context, we’ve held an ISO certificate for longer than some of our younger team members have been alive!
Being measured against an internationally recognised standard is part of our commitment to continually maintaining high standards for our employees, customers and stakeholders. In the current challenging climate, it’s also reassuring to know that our business is up to the mark and customers can be assured that they are receiving an excellent quality service.
