If you're just starting to plan for events and exhibitions, consider your priorities and create a plan of action. Although you may think you've got plenty of time, you can easily find yourself four weeks away from a trade show or business expo with nothing prepared.

Find out who is attending: make sure you get your messages right; think about what you want to convey about your business and how you can use social media and your print and display materials to influence who you speak to on the day.
